Wanapum Dam, Grant County WA To accommodate turbine retrofitting work at the Wanapum Dam, Solutionz demolished the existing concrete discharge ring, draft tube liner, and 2nd stage concrete for the proposed work. Mini Max and Bobcat equipment was lowered down approximately 80' into position by an on-site crane to perform the required impact demolition and concrete removal. Working hand in hand with the facility's strict safety guidelines, Solutionz performed the double shifted work safely and efficiently" making this second Wanapum project a great success. Business Center 5 Demolition, Bothell WA This project consisted of stripping and gutting an existing office/warehouse. Rooftop access cat walks, platforms, and associated wind screens were flown off the roof for prep on the ground. All GWB walls and interior ceiling and flooring finishes were removed, clearing the way for demolition of approximately 4,500sf of roof structure and the sawcutting and removal of 7,888sf of concrete slab on grade. Roof demolition was performed by a Mini Max with a fabricated attachment to push up roof sections. Glu Lams were salvaged using a Reach Fork and Man Lifts.

Sunnycrest Elementary Demolition and School Modernization, Lake Stevens Washington Standing at one of the most significant and diversified projects Solutionz has completed, Sunnycrest Elementary included the demolition of approximately 30,000sf of roof structure, the wallsawing of over 750lf of top course CMU, multiple slab and CMU wall openings, and the removal of a boiler. Work involved (3) on-site buildings, each with varying degrees of demolition ranging from a complete strip and gut of a 35,000sf building through to the select demolition of another to accommodate new construction.
